Ganesh Pujo, like every other celebration of our divine gods, are a big occasion with requires a lt of devotion, effort and hardwork to make it happen. More often than not, everything that goes into these preparations end up polluting the environment, the very nature that god has given us. This Ganesh Puja, let’s give a little back to our environment with a little bit more effort and a lot of care. This DIY clay craft makes a eco friendly ganesh idol that will definitely be adorable, as you’ll put all your love and devotion into it and will also be a sustainable option for the planet that we live in. Therefore, without further ado, let us go through the steps and know how to get started.
1. We take
out our clay and thoroughly mix it with water to form a firm dough that we then
cut into pieces.
2. Make a base with the first piece and do so by
flattening it out.
3. For the torso, roll a golf ball size sphere
and attach it with the base using a few drops of water or a toothpick.
4. Make rolls for the arms, legs and the truck of
Lord Ganesha. Attach them to the body using drops of water, two from the top
end of the torso, and two above the base, but attached to the bottom of the
torso. Make sure to shape the blessing arm properly to ensure Lord Ganesha has
his iconic pose.
5. Make a smaller sphere and place it on top of
the torso for the head. Attach the other roll for the truck along this sphere.
Curve the truck as per your liking.
6.
Make tiny balls for his features like his ears, eyes and most
importantly, his Ladoos! Again, use water as glue.
